February Projects

February 2, 2017

Can you believe it’s already February?

I know I say that at the start of ever month but January seriously seemed to fly by. Also, sorry for missing Monday’s post; I was in St Moritz, Switzerland watching snow polo. I know. It sounds crazy. There’s a post about it coming, don’t you worry.

At the start of the month I usually do a blogging tips post but this month I wanted to do something a little different.

I’ve never been much of a goal setter because adding some lofty goals to the million things I already feel like I have to do is never a great idea. But this month I have a few projects that I’m really excited about and can’t wait to share with you!

My February Projects range from some blog posts to some personal life stuff.

Project #1
C25K App

That’s right, I’m putting the Couch to 5K app to the test. I used to run 5Ks without a problem but have been slacking off for the past few months. I’ve already done the first run and LOVE it. I can’t wait to write a full review post after I become a 5K master.

Project #2
Do my uni reading.

For my marketing class, we have to read three textbook chapters a week. It’s not that much but I just hate textbooks. I would much rather look for online learning materials instead, as with the popularity of technology continuing to rise, you are bound to find something that suits you the best. In fact, 53% of people have said that they feel more confident in the materials they are learning whilst online, so it’s surely a good thing (click here for more information). Now, I don’t mind reading or working through a textbook, but I just find that it’s not as stimulating as other methods. I can only get through five pages before being bored out of my mind. So with a combination of the Forest app and the 10 page chunk method.

Project #3
Plan my next trip

I have two weeks off in March. I’m going to London for the second week but have no clue where to go for the first. I’m torn between playing tourist in Europe or scrambling off to somewhere with some sun and waves. Any comments and suggestions would be much appreciated!

I know those might not seem like the most exciting goals but hey, if it’s on the blog it must come true right?

Also, to be totally honest with you guys, I just couldn’t think of any blogging tips haha. Any posts about blogging that you really want to see? Help a girl out!

Do you have any upcoming projects?

Run-ssentials: Nike GPS Watch

I’m one of those people. I need my Nike GPS watch. I can’t run without somehow tracking my run. Whether it’s with an app (like Zombies Run, the best app ever) or some gadget, I just need to know how far and how fast I’ve run…. otherwise I just feel no…
